Every year, The PM Group joyfully celebrates our ‘in-business anniversary’ with an annual charitable ‘fun-raiser’ and this year’s event will be a pigskin classic! Historically speaking, this is a departure from the last 8 years when our annual ‘Kings & Queens of Good Hearts Gala & Casino Night‘ has been traditionally held in August or September.
But 2022 will be different!
In 2022, the Super Bowl is being held two weeks later than its normal calendar location due to the new 17-game NFL regular season schedule. Plus, you have the 2022 Winter Olympic Games creating a scheduling puzzle for NBC—which televises both events.
No problem for our two head coaches Fran Yanity and Bob Wills.
“This year’s ‘Super Duper Bowl Party’ will be fun and true to our agency philosophy of holding an annual charitable fundraiser to aid pet rescue, education, and our military veterans, active duty, and their families,” The PM Group’s President and Chief Operating Officer, Fran Yanity stated.
“Kings & Queens is a fantastic event, but we saw the opportunity to do something unique and fun this year,” added Bob Wills. “We will turn the ballroom at La Cantera Resort into a gigantic sports bar with seven 16-foot wide 8k screens,” Wills added.
“Event doors will open at 2:45pm on Super Bowl Sunday and have multiple food stations, complimentary beverages, magical entertainment, a silent and live auction, football squares, and a football themed raffle,” according to Peggy Wills, The PM Group’s Vice President of Community Giving and event coordinator.
We can’t wait to host this exciting, new style of event for our benefiting organizations, our sponsors, and our staff who work passionately to continue our mission of giving back to the community of San Antonio and South Texas.
