On the heels of two back-to-back Conference USA football titles, The PM Group launched the first ever UTSA Roadrunners Kickoff Luncheon Friday, August 23rd at the Marriott Rivercenter Hotel. The goal of the event was to raise N-I-L recruitment funding for the UTSA football program.
“Hats off to everyone involved in this successful event. The whole city, business sponsors, and university alumni rose up to make the luncheon a marquee event in support of UTSA Roadrunners football,” stated UTSA Head Coach Jeff Traylor. “April Ancira, Martin Salinas, Peggy Wills and Bob Wills chaired an outstanding event for our football program,” Traylor added.
“It was everything we hoped it would be in our first year holding this event,” stated co-chair Peggy Wills.
The 2024 Roadrunner Kickoff Luncheon is already slated for August 23, 2024, at the same venue. Table sponsorships will go on sale later this fall.
