The Houston Astros have won their second World Series in the last five years. They won the best of seven championship competition 4-2 and delivered the first ever World Series title for 73-year-old team manager, Dusty Baker.
Despite losing Game 1 to the Philadelphia Phillies, the Astros won four of the next five games and won the 2022 World Series with three straight wins in Game 4 through Game 6 to secure the title.
“Dusty Baker was spectacular in his decision making, the Astros bullpen was dominating, and the Astros hitters came through with timely hits like Yordan Alvarez’s booming three-run homerun to win Game 6,” stated The PM Group’s founder, Bob Wills.
