Last night the San Antonio Media Alliance “roasted” John Seabers as a scholarship fundraiser for the organization. John is the San Antonio General manager for Sinclair Television Group and he oversees WOAI-TV, FOX29 and the CW-35 stations. Over 175 people attended the event at The Veranda here in San Antonio.
John was roasted by fellow colleagues, friends and industry competitors like Bob McGann at KENS-TV and Judy Rettinger at Time Warner Cable. The PM Group’s CEO Bob Wills brought down the house with revelations of John’s past—whether it was true or not—and some humorous video’s produced by Quarter Moon Productions.
