We are proud to announce a new partnership with Respite Care of San Antonio. Founded in 1987, Respite Care’s original mission was to provide support for families caring for a child or loved one with developmental disabilities and to enhance the stability and nurturing opportunities of these families. This was provided through community based and overnight shelter services designed to provide short-term relief to parents. Their mission expanded in 1997 to provide care for children with special needs from all over the state who are in protective custody as a result of neglect or abuse. Today, Respite Care now provides site-based services for families who could use a little help, like daycare and Parent’s Day or Night out.
Our relationship with Respite Care began in 2017 as our agency spent an afternoon volunteering at their center. We helped prepare dinner and spent quality time with the kids while learning about the history of the center from their dedicated and warm-hearted staff.
Respite Care reached out to improve their fundraising campaign and to get the community involved with their mission. To do this, we’re crafting clear and concise messaging, establishing brand standards, and designing creative to be incorporated across print, social, digital, their website and more. We will create streamlined, impactful advertisements to motivate supporters to donate and we called upon Noisy Trumpet to help increase Respite Care’s public relations and community exposure.
We are honored to help a non-profit who provides support and a loving, safe environment for some of San Antonio’s most vulnerable children, while offering a break to parents when they need it most.
