
Whether it be Texas heritage, tech company growth or the allure of the San Antonio Riverwalk, six Texas cities have been recognized for their booming population growth in a recently published article.
El Paso, Austin, San Antonio, Fort Worth, Houston and Dallas all made the Top 20 list.
Most of the fastest growing U.S. cities are based in Florida, Texas and Tennessee. These states have no state income tax which is a big allure for population relocation and corporate relocation.
On the other side of the spectrum, California, New York and Illinois are leading the nation in migration from their states. They have the highest state income taxes, and their overall cost of living is the highest as well.
