On October 20, 2022, San Antonio Pets Alive! is hosting its 3rd annual Paws for Celebration fundraising event. Both Thomas J. Henry and The PM Group are supporting this year’s event so that San Antonio Pets Alive! can continue their mission of saving the lives of thousands of homeless dogs and cats in our community.
With a goal of raising more than $85,000, these funds will go to the programs and services needed to eliminate the killing of at-risk animals due to lack of shelter space, adopter, or foster. Becoming a sponsor or buying tickets to this event helps SAPA reach their goal and provides second chances to many deserving animals in our community. Individual tickets can still be purchased or you can make a donation straight to the organization.
In 2021, San Antonio Pets Alive! was able to have:
- 9,100+ vaccinations administered
- 6,300+ diagnostic tests administered
- 4,745 lives saved
- 2,905 dogs and cats adopted
- 1,521 neonatal puppies and kittens saved
- 1,424 animals placed with rescue partners
- 1000+ fosters open up their homes to care for one or more of our animals
- 651 dogs and cats spayed/neutered at their Medical Care Center
- 259 parvo and parvo suspect puppies treated
- 219 dogs treated for heartworm
San Antonio Pet Alive! is San Antonio’s last chance rescue organization whose mission is to provide the programs and services needed to eliminate the killing of at-risk animals. Due to alarming euthanasia rates in the city of San Antonio, the organization was founded in 2011, and continues to be a high paced, high-volume rescue in the city. Since their inception, they have saved more than 60,000 dogs and cats and aim to save 5,000 homeless dogs and cats each year.
