April 9th was national Reveal Day for ChildSafe’s community-wide Cardboard Kids campaign. This was the second year that Cardboard Kids where adopted and decorated to “put a face” on child abuse.
The staff at The PM Group, The Wood Agency and QMP created and adopted their own Kids. But we were not alone. Over 20,000 Cardboard kids were placed in and around San Antonio – this was up from 5,600 in 2014. According to ChildSafe, the social media campaign netted 2 million social media impressions. Valero Energy Corp was a major sponsor that had a huge impact on promoting the Cardboard Kids endeavor.
Needless to say, both ChildSafe and The PM Group were thrilled by the results and look forward to new ways to bring focus to help promote Child Safety in our community.
