During uncertain times, it’s refreshing to see our community rally and unite to support important causes like Breast Cancer, a disease impacting so many. In February, Rudy’s hosted the Pink Cancer Awareness Campaign which offered all Rudy’s customers the opportunity to donate $5 to the SA Cancer Council, and in return customers would receive a $10 voucher for FREE bar-b-q during their next visit.
To help raise awareness during this campaign, The PM Group developed radio spots and print ads promoting the “Campaign for the Cure” messaging and helped inform San Antonians of the four locations they could visit to get involved. The agency is excited to announce Rudy’s raised over $94,000 for this important cause thanks to the generous hearts of those who donated.
While the previously scheduled check presentation had been delayed, we recently held a small media presentation, safely and socially distanced, with our media partners who were able to spread the good news. It is always an inspiring reminder that even during difficult times the community of San Antonio comes together to support important causes. We are proud to be an agency in this city working with and for such a great community.
