Organization Hopes This Matching Grant Will Help Raise $250,000 at 1200 WOAI News Radiothon.
The Elf Louise Christmas Project started years ago with one simple goal; no child should be left gift-less at Christmas! But that takes an enormous amount of money and volunteers to make that happen every year for the many less fortunate families in the San Antonio area community.
This year’s holiday hero is none other than attorney Thomas J. Henry. A $50,000 matching grant hero, that is!
Mr. Henry and his family have pledged up to $50,000 to Elf Louise again this year to help make some serious holiday magic happen. For every donation received, they will increase that donation by 25%.
That formula worked well last year and helped the organization raise a record $286,000 over the 2-day Radiothon held at North Star Mall in San Antonio. This year’s goal is to raise $300,000 or more so Elf Louise can serve even more families.
“It’s amazing how the Elf Louise organization can bring together thousands of volunteers to wrap Christmas presents and then get them delivered to thousands of families by Christmas. We are honored to help them make Christmas merrier for so many children,” stated Mr. Henry.
