AHA’s Red Sofa Tour Brings Conversation About Heart Health Out to the Community
The PM Group President, Fran Yanity, along with American Heart Association representative, Nora Silva, sat down with SA Living and Daytime at Nine this week to continue the conversation about the importance of heart health for women and the Red Sofa Tour sponsored by The PM Group.
It’s a staggering statistic that 1 in 3 women are killed from heart disease and stroke in the U.S., but by encouraging the conversation and education about heart health, the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women movement and Fran Yanity hope to lower that number.
As the Red Sofa Tour makes its way throughout San Antonio until May of 2018, the Go Red for Women movement invites women to sit down, talk about ways to improve their health, and have fun by sharing the message on social media.
