Rudy’s Original BBQ gives $7,500
Supporting our country’s military, both active duty and retired, has been more than just a policy for Rudy’s Original Bar- B-Q. Over the years they have supported the Military and our Veterans with over 6 million dollars monetarily and in BBQ. Keeping with this support Stacy Haywood, Sr. Manager of Rudy’s Leon Springs restaurant presented a check for $7,500 to VFW Post 76 on Wednesday, April 30, 2014. The check was accepted by Albert Mireles, Commander VFW Post 76.
This isn’t just a one-time event. Every day the three locations of Rudy’s Original Bar-B-Q in Westover Hills, Selma, and Leon Springs offer active-duty personnel and retired veterans, as well as their families, a 10% discount off their meals. In fact, the 10% isn’t even referred to as a discount at the restaurant, but rather an everyday 10% appreciation. Recognition of these men and women’s service to this country is part of Rudy’s Original Bar-B-Q corporate culture.
