The PM Group 30th Anniversary

 

The PM Group is proud to be San Antonio’s premier advertising agency and results-based marketing firm at the ripe age of 30. But it hasn’t always been this way. Like most companies, The PM Group started with humble beginnings.

 

PM Group CEO and founder, Bob Wills, worked on the operations side of the business world for years before gravitating to marketing. One day while sitting at his desk, Bob had an epiphany, “I’d like to start an agency and use my experience to help businesses grow.” While Bob had the vision to guide a company to greatness, he knew he didn’t have the time to do it alone. In 1988, The PM Group opened its doors to the businesses of San Antonio for the first time. Bob worked hard to acquire a few early clients and immediately started assembling an elite team of South Texas advertising professionals, many of whom are still with the agency to this day.

 

One of the many invaluable employees who’ve joined Bob over the years is Fran Yanity. Fran ascended The PM Group ranks with a steel work ethic and unrelenting loyalty to her many client accounts. She began on the account service side and has since worked her way to agency leadership. She currently serves as The PM Group Chief Operating Officer and President.

 

First came the hard work, then came the fun. Years into The PM Group’s heritage, Bob decided there should be an annual event to give back to charitable non-profit organizations in our community. The event has been focused on helping local non-profits that support at-risk children, education, family and health services, first responders and pet rescue.

 

Like The PM Group, the annual fundraiser started small but has since grown into one of San Antonio’s top three largest charitable fundraising events. The incredible evening is now called the Kings and Queens of Good Hearts Fun-Raiser and includes live music, raffles, auctions, and games all under a captivating casino theme.

 

Over the last six years, The PM Group has helped raise over $1.5 million for charitable causes. We hope to continue to make an impact with a fundraising goal of $500,000 this year.
